Lifelong Allegheny township resident died this morning at 12.40 o'clock at his home at Duncansville, R. D. 1, death being attributed to a complication of ailments. He was the son of John and Susan (Penrose) Closson and was born on Feb. 9, 1854. He was a member of the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren and retired in 1926 from service with the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Friends are being received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
CLOSSON - Funeral services for Silas Closson will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren. Interment in the Carson Valley Cemetery. The body will be viewed at the home of Mrs. Dave Kauffman.
