Mr. Kostenbauder retired as a clerk from the South Altoona Foundries of the Pennsylvania Railroad on Dec. 31, 1952, after 35 years service.
He was aborn Aug. 18, 1887, in Danville, the son of Henry H. and Anna (Jones) Kostenbauder, and June 10, 1916, in Altoona, married Edna C. Colclesser, who died May 7, 1981.
Surviving are two sons: Charles F, Jr. of Philadelphia and John C. at home, and a grandson.
Mr. Kostenbauder was a member of Lewistown Lodge f&AM, Mountain Royal Arch Chapter and Mountain Commandery.
Friends will be recieved from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the William G. Bigelow Funeral Home.
