Topeka State Journal Thursday 29 March, 1973:

Services will be Saturday at Assumption Catholic church for Albert M. Leikam, 66, 1012 Huntoon, who was dead on arrival at a local hospital Wednesday. Hospital officials said an autopsy will be performed.

He was born Dec. 18, 1906 at Victoria in Ellis County and came to Topeka in 1952. Mr. Leikam was a retired laborer and a member of Assumption Parish.

He married Sarah Eileen McBride on April 28, 1953. She survives at the home. Other survivors include 2 sisters, Mrs. Emma Lang, Hays, and Mrs. Christine Logan, Milwaukee; and a brother, Ferdenand Leikam, Tulsa.

Graveside services will be Saturday at St. Bridget Cemetery in Axtell. Parish Rosary will be said Friday at Brennan's Funeral Home.
