Ella was the daughter of Wesley and Mahala Cadill. She graduated from St. Marys High School and taught school north of St. Marys at the Diamond District. She married Roy Carlson on October 13, 1934. Survivors include her sons, Carl Carlson and Richard Carlson, her brother, Edwin Caudill, 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral Services were held at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.
