Services for Glendon Lee "Andy" Anderson, 76, Malakoff, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, at Carroll Lehr Funeral Chapel with Dan Wilson officiating.Burial will follow in Payne Cemetery.Mr. Anderson died September 2, 2008, in Tyler.He was born June 6, 1932, in Climax to Lee Farmer and Lucy Mae Maynor Anderson. Andy moved from Dallas to Eustace in 1958, then to Malakoff in 1966. While a resident in Dallas he was a meat cutter for super markets a number of years. He owned and operated service stations and a restaurant in Eustace and was a member and served as president of the Eustace Independent School District Board. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served as song leader and teacher for Eustace Church of Christ and Cayuga Church of Christ. Andy served in the United States Coast Guard eight years and was considered a great chef.He was preceded in death by his first wife Helen and a brother Jerry Anderson.Survivors include his wife Pam Denman Anderson, Malakoff, sons Wilder Chong, Jr., Dallas, Glenn Lee Anderson, Hawaii, daughters Christine Taylor, Dallas, Francine Connerly, Eustace, Teresa Peterson, Dallas, step-children Donald M. Williams, Talfar, Iraq, Nicki Smyser, Schertz, Â brother, Larry Anderson, Galveston, sister, Joan Ketter, Seven Points, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Charles Richard Connerly, Michael Connerly, Tracey Connerly, Kevin Taylor, Jake Connerly, and Lee Anderson
