In 1915 my Gr-Grandfather moved from Hawkeye, Iowa in order to keep his children with him after the death of his wife. He never remarried. It is when he arrived in Kansas City he changed the spelling of his last name to Westfall. He was born in Muskau, Germany.
He lost part of his arm in a thresher. He was a
Lutheran. Favorite word was "gull-dern".
He was 30 when he married Minana (Held) who was 16.
He was the father of:
