Mr. Siters 81, of 2016 5th Ave, died at 4:45 a.m. today, Feb 27, 1986, in Altoona Hospital.
Mr. Siters retired as a painter from the Pennsylvana Railroad in 1967, after 25 1/2 years service. He was born Jan 24, 1905 in Bellwood, the son of George and Tille (Clouser) Siters, and married Dorothy Bowers, who died in 1973. Surviving are seven children; Donna Wilkinson of Harrisburg, Robert A. Jr. of Altoona, Bernice Andrus of Aloha, Oregon and Carol Ellison, Philip, Terry W, and George W of Sacramento, Calif; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers and sisters; Albert and Eugene of Bellwood. Doris Rogers of San Francisco, California and Betty Mumm in California. Mr. Siters was a lifetime member of the Bellwood Sportsmen's Club. He was an Army veteran of World War I.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Christman. Mr. Siters is also survived by a longtime friend with whom he resided, Pearl Miner.
