Elsa Osborne was the daughter of A. [Andrew] Watson and Elsa [Parker] Armour. Her father was the Vice President and Director of Armour & Company, the famous meatpacking company. Elsa grew up in Chicago and at her parent's estate, Elawa Farm, in Lake Forest, IL. She had two brothers: A. Watson Armour III (born 1908), who is also buried at Lake Forest Cemetery, and Charles B Armour.
