States Rights Democrat, Albany, Oregon, Friday, September 28, 1894
Four Score and Thirteen - Mr. Olney Fry Senior, a pioneer of 1852, died at his home in this city on the evening of Tuesday, September 25, 1894, at the advanced age of 93 years. He had been ill only a short time. The deceased retained his energy up to within only a few months, many days walking several miles, sometimes as far as five miles a day. He was a man of splendid habits and genuine worth, though of course retaining some of the characteristics of an earlier generation. He leaves an aged wife and several children, among the number being Mr. Olney Fry, Jr., of this county, himself a man advanced in years.
