Services were held Thursday (June 22) for Sharon Elaine Bryson Daniels at the First Baptist Church in Tishomingo. She was born November 9, 1951 in Gainesville, Texas to Howard and Jean Bryson. She grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Sharon passed from this world Tuesday, June 20, at Johnston Memorial Hospital at the age of fifty-four years, five months, eleven days.
She married Vernon Dale Daniels, March 2, 1973, in Tishomingo. She graduated from East Central University with a major in education. She was a school teacher and taught both in Carter and Johnston counties in Oklahoma and in Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law, Vernon Daniels and a sister, Gail Hinds.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Daniels, of the home, a son Scott Daniels, a daughter Ashley Rogers and her husband John, all of Tishomingo, her grandchildren Ryan and Laney, her brother Howard Bryson and wife Jenny of Ardmore, sisters Marian McGowen and husband Mike of Ardmore, Barbara Roberts and husband Jack of Ardmore, Sandy Marker and husband Bob of Sherman, Texas, Glenys Mathis and husband Ronnie of Dublin, Texas, mother-in-law Ina Daniels Gilger and husband Bob, a grandmother Ruby Nan Lemonds of Madill, brother-in-law Danny Daniels and wife Carla of Tishomingo and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Sharon was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend and will be missed by all.
Pallbearers were Trey Bryson, Michael McGowen, Chase Daniels, Blake Daniels, Steve Bleakley, David Harcrow, Kirk LaFevers and John Rogers. Honorary pallbearers were Marla Bleakley, Tammie Murdoch, Pamela Melendez, Kelcy Harcrow, Jeff Caskey, Jennifer Crosthwait, Michelle Ables, Melissa Harcrow, Megan Vowel, Kevin Morgan, Shanna Harbert, Ashley Davenport and Michael Bryson.
