Ruth Helen Troll, 90, died March 29, 2008, at the Good Samaritan Care Center, Hutchinson.
She was born April 3, 1917, in Hamilton, the daughter of Woolsey T. and Carrie Mae "Smith" Balsom. She was a retired nurses aide.
Survivors include: a daughter, Martisha Hudson; seven grandchildren, Mary,Jerry, Kristina, Misty, Iva, Richard, and Barbara; 18 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Troll; a daughter, Alice D. Isett; a brother, Charles W. Balsom; and a sister, Maude Mills.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Frederick Obold presiding. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Janesville Cemetery, Hamilton. Memorials may be sent to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, in care of the funeral home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
