JOHN W. SWITZER CALLED BY DEATH
Rites for Retired Oil man Tomorrow

John Wesley Switzer, 87, retired oil worker, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturda at his hime on Selby St. following an illness of one year.

A son of Henderson and Sara (Folk) Switzer, he was born january 3, 1861 in Marion Township. In 1886 he married Amanda Irene Wingate who survives.

Surviving are sons, Ralph, of Findlay and John, of Lima, daughters, Mrs. Nellie Kennedy, and Mrs. Naomi Bright, of Findlay, Mrs. Irene Boosalis, Long Beach, CA., 30 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren.

Eight children and eight brothers and sisters, William, Sherman, Daniel, Milton, Lemuel, jane, jacob and Martin Switzer are deceased.

Before working in the fields, Mr. Switzer built several bridges in the Findlay area.

Mr. Switzer was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Christian Union Church.

The body was taken to the Coldren Funeral Hime where it will remain for services at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. George Ralph, pastor of the Grace Evangilical Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.
