Obit – Doris Hale Larson
Doris Jane Hale was born February 20, 1926 to Edgar and Clara (Arnold) Hale at Lyons, NE.
She grew up the Divide Center community, where she attended the Presbyterian Church and elementary school. She graduated from Lyons High School.
In 1946 she married Paul Larson at the Presbyterian Church in Lyons. Three children were born to this union – Paula, Pamela and John.
Doris died November 20. 1956 at Denver, CO. Her ashes were scattered there.

Funeral services for Mrs. Larson of 1322 South Elison Way, Denver, CO. will be held Friday afternoon at Denver.
Mrs. Larson, the former Doris Hale, daughter of Edgar Hale
of Lyons, NE, succumbed Wednesday following four days of hospitalization suffering from a ruptured diaphragrm and brain hemorrhage. Mrs. Larson, who had given birth to a son to weeks ago, had returned home in apparent good condition, when she was taken ill suddenly . She was rushed to a Denver hospital where the best care was given to no avail.
Assisting in her care was Eleanor Christensen Salch, R.N. who resides in Denver.
Survivors include her husband, Paul, two daughters and one son; parents, Edgar and Clara Hale, Lyons, NE; brother, Harold Hale Decatur, NE; and two sisters, Mrs. Paul Christensen and Mrs. Donald Gilbreath Lyons, NE; six half brothers and sisters: Floyd Hale Lyons, Cecil Hale Decatur, Earl Blair, NE, Elva West, Ridgefield, WA, Orpha Bowling Campbell, CA and Ruth Brandt Greely, CO.
