Hamilton B. Tarver
Eagle Pass, Texas, June 17. Hamilton B. Tarver, son of Dr. and Mrs. Charles Tarver of this city, died at the home of his parents at 10 o'clock Tuesday night following a few days illness. The funeral was held at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, interment in city cemetery. Mr. Tarver was born at College Station, Texas, October 13, 1877, making him in the forty ninth year of his age. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War, serving in a Texas cavalry regiment. He was well known in this city, having lived here at different times and visited his parents at intervals.
Mr. Tarver is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Charles Tarver; four sisters, Mrs. Porcher of El Paso, Mrs. C.W. Halton of Houston, Mrs. B.V. King and Mrs. R.E. Moss of this city; two brothers, R.F. Tarver of San Antonio and Benjamin R. Tarver of Maroma, Coah, Mexico, with whom all Eagle Pass enter into profound sympathy.
