Entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2006, Maggie Allen Barnhill, widow of Woodrow W. Barnhill. Residence, Goose Creek, South Carolina.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., GREENRIDGE ROAD CHAPEL Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at eleven o'clock. Interment, Plantation Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhr's Greenridge Road Chapel this evening between six and eight o'clock.

Mrs. Barnhill was born May 26, 1916 in Conway (Bayboro Community), South Carolina, a daughter of the late Newberry Allen and Rose Alla Rabon Allen.

She was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Freewill Baptist Church in Ladson.

She is survived by a son, George B. Barnhill, Sr. of Knightsville, SC; two daughters, Naomi B. Smith of Hanahan, SC and Ruth B. Rabon of Goose Creek, SC; one brother, Freeman Allen of Aynor, SC; two sisters, Geneva Johnson and Fray Rabon, both of Aynor, SC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Barnhill; a granddaughter, Tammy Smith; two sisters, Rushie Prosser and Iveran Huggins; and a brother, N. B. Allen.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Freedom Freewill Baptist Church, Building Fund, 119 Barnhill Lane, Ladson, SC 29456.
