Acker Ervin L, 47, died Sunday in McCray Hospital. He was born October 16, 1913, in LaGrange County, and moved to this community 15 months ago from the Albion area. He was married February 25, 1935 to Josephine Winebrenner. Surviving are the widow; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Acker, Kendallville; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Austin, of Avilla; two grandchildren; five brothers, Raymond and Roy of Kendallville, Robert of Auburn, Orville near LaGrange, Alva Acker Jr. of Marion; and four sisters, Mrs. Bert Trowbridge and Mrs. Arthur Mapes of Kendallville, Mrs. Orpha Beights of Goshen and Mrs. Robert Luke of Fort Wayne. Services Wednesday in Kendallville. Burial, South Milford Cemetery. ~ 6-15-1961
