Miss Frances Lydia Deal, 60, of Mt. Leonard, passed away Tuesday at the Kelling Clinic and Hospital in Waverly where she had been a patient the last two weeks.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, March 9, in the Campbell-Lewis chapel, with Rev. Arnold Prater, pastor of the Marshall, Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Ridge Park cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 until 9 o'clock tonight in the Campbell-Lewis chapel.

Miss Deal was born in Saline County March 6, 1907, the daughter of the late Aubra Rea and Lydia Wright Deal. She was a member of the Mt. Leonard Extension club and a member of the Marshall Methodist Church. Miss Deal had lived most of her life in the Mt. Leonard community.

Surviving are three brothers, Homer Deal of rural Napton, and John Deal of rural Malta Bend, a half-sister, Mrs. Ada Mae Hill of Kansas City, Kans., and a half brother. Ralph Deal of Drexel, also several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by lone brother and one sister.
