Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 25, in the Sweeney-Reser Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Deal was born near Grand Pass, April 29, 1882, the daughter of Robert and Emily Blanchard Wright. She was married September 23, 1903 at Mt. Leonard, to J .M. Deal Sr., who survives at the Mar-Saline Manor. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Marshall. She and her husband farmed in the Mt. Leonard community until retiring and moving to Marshall.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Joe Deal of Marshall and Percy Deal of St. Paul, Minn.; three grandchildren.
Mrs. Deal was preceded in death by her parents, one son Lawrence Deal in 1943, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs. J. Maurice Deal, Sr., 90, of 330 East Yerby, who died Wednesday at Fitzgibbon Hospital, were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Sweeney-Reser. Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Christy Oetting, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated. Mrs. Travis Bullington, organist, accompanied Mrs. John Staley, as she sang "Rock of Ages" and "How Great Thou Art."
Burial was in Ridge Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Deal, Howard Deal, Homer Deal, Rea Deal, Lamkin James, and Roy Donnell.
Honorary pallbearers were Roy Jeffress, T.S. Smith, Lloyd Cart, Leverette Ransberger and Wallace Williams.
