She was born to Emil and Adeline Miller, and lived in Door County most of her life. After graduating from Brussels High School, she attended Door-Kewaunee Normal School, a teacher's college, in Algoma. Leora taught in a one-room school in Kolberg for four years.
On June 20, 1939, she married Lester Sell, who passed away Jan. 6, 1977. They farmed in the Sturgeon Bay, Slovan, and Kolberg areas until the time of Lesters death. Leora had a heart of gold, always looking out for others before herself. She was one of a kind and touched everyone's hearts who knew her. Survivors include three children, two sons and one daughter, four grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters, and a sister. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Algoma.
