Funeral services for Dale Richard Bosch will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2007 at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Missouri with Rev. John Pritchard officiating. Cremation to follow services. Visitation, 7 - 8 p.m. Sunday, September 16 at the Schowengerdt Chapel (660-679-6555) Butler.
Dale Richard Bosch, age 44 of Rich Hill, Missouri died Friday, September 14, 2007 at his home in Rich Hill. He was born April 5, 1963 to Donald Richard and Barbara Miller Bosch in Kansas City, Kansas. Dale's mother died when he was only three days old and shortly thereafter, Dale's father married Loretta Maxine Martin.
Dale, one of 12 children, grew up in the Bates County area and attended grade school at Hume, Missouri and high school at Rich Hill. On September 24, 1982 in Hugoton, Kansas he married Donna Herman and to this union two children were born. Dale most recently worked as a foreman for Gas Distribution Company. In his earlier career, he worked at Parker Grain Elevator in Hugoton, Kansas, then Northern Pipeline and TNT Flatworks in Kansas City, Missouri and finally GDC in Olathe, Kansas. He was a member of the Laborers Union #663 and unselfishly devoted much time and effort to being a volunteer firefighter.
Dale was outgoing and kind . . . and with a heart of gold was always helping others. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and walking. One of his favorite pastimes was working on cars and trucks and driving in stock car races! Relaxing moments were spent listening to country music, playing with his chocolate lab Suzie, sharing the Christmas holidays with family . . . and making memories with the apple of his eye--granddaughter Lea. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, brother, father and grandpa.
Dale is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna Bosch of Rich Hill, Missouri; a son Terry Bosch of the home; one daughter, Christina Bosch Shore and husband Kevin of Rich Hill, Missouri; his mother, Maxine Bosch of Butler, Missouri; five brothers, Raymond Bosch and wife Tracy of Rich Hill, Missouri, Wallie Bosch and wife Dorothy of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Larry Bosch and wife Jennifer of Butler, Missouri, and Wayne Miller and Wally Miller and wife Terry of Topeka, Kansas; four sisters, Vickie Epperson and husband Russell of Butler, Missouri, Donna Payne and husband Dean of Amoret, Missouri, and Lois June Bosch and Lynn Miller both of Topeka, Kansas; a granddaughter Lea; step-grandson, Dallas; and nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his birth parents; one brother, Randy Bosch; and one sister, Sandy Bosch.
