Mrs. Marie Harris Knight died on Friday, April 16, 1937 of pneumonia at her Whites Creek Pike home. She was an active member of Love's Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society there. She was one of the charter members of the society and one of the oldest church members in her Whites Creek community.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. H.D. Knight; sons Dr. H.B. Knight and Newton L. Knight; daughter Mrs. H.H. Hudson; granddaughter Elizabeth Knight; brothers A.R. Harris and Forrest Harris; and sisters Mrs. D.B. Evans and Mrs. Louise Christian.
