Funeral services for Ann Marie Moody, 74, will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Southside Drive. Officiating will be Reverend Ron Parker of CrossPoint Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the funeral home.

Ann was born August 16, 1933 in Shreveport, LA to Henry and Orianna Rhodes-Simmons. She passed away, July 27, 2008. She was a member of CrossPoint FreeWill Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA. She was featured in the pictorial history of Northwest, LA, volume 2, published by the Shreveport Times in 2001. She was pictured kissing her husband goodbye as the Marines were leaving for the Korean War in 1950. Later she saw her boys off during the Vietnam Conflict. She was a jewel of a Christian lady and a loving mother.

Her husband, Doyle Edward Moody, Sr.; parents; great-granddaughter, Hailey Langford and grandson, Doug White, preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is sons, Edward Moody and wife Sally and Robert Moody; daughter, Deborah White and husband Jack; brother, Henry Simmons; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Rodgers, Justin Rodgers, Michael Langford, Robert Moody, Edward Moody and Joe Beaubouef.

Memorials may be made to Grace Home in Shreveport, LA.
