John Carles"Chuck" Grubb,60, of Tecumseh died Sunday May 25,in Tecumseh.
He was born Oct. 10, 1942, in Charleston, Ark.to John D. and Hester (Neuhart) Grubb. He was a graduate of Fort Smith High School.
He grew up in Charleston, Ark., and Fort Smith, Ark. He also lived in Louisiana and Cushing before moving to Tecumseh in 1979.
He married Glenda Eaton on April 5, 1974 in Hattiesburg, Miss.
He worked as an auditor for the state of Oklahoma. He and his wife owned and operated appliances stores in Cushing and Tecumseh.
He raised and maintained race horses.
He was a member of the First Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; daughter Suzette Loraine Grubb of the home, and her fiance, Jonathan Tomlin of Shawnee; son and daughter-n-law, Glen Allan and Pamela Grubb of Tecumseh; mother, Hester (Neuhart) Grubb of Fort Smith; sisters, and brother-n-law, Debbie and Robbie Crawford of Fort Smith and Kay and Charles Menenhall of Bonanza, Ark.; and sister-n-law, Judith Loraine Eaton of Friendswood, Texas.
Graveside services were May 28 at the Dale Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Crawford officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
