Hunt, south part of town, Thursday evening, Elliott Allen, of Wilson county, Tenn., and Miss Atlanta Hunt, of Round Grove. Judge J. W. Hopper officiating. The new firm have our good wishes.'

Atlanta was the daughter of Evaline Allen Hunt, aunt of Elliot.

In the 1900 census Elliot and Atlanta are living in Chautauqua Co., Kansas. Living with them is Atlanta's widowed sister, Juliette Hunt Lollar. Also living in Chautauqua Co. in the 1900 census are two of Atlanta's other siblings, Virginia Hunt Trower and William Allen
Hunt.

The Springdale (Arkansas) News, Gravett, May 27, 1910:
'The many friends of Elliot Allen, more especially among the Odd Fellows, here were made sad to hear of his death last week which occurred at Shop Springs, Tenn. where Mr. Allen, a few weeks before, went to be with his relatives there. W. L. Morris, I.O.O.F. secretary received word last Thursday from the lodge in Tennessee conveying the news that Mr. Allen had died on the 7th inst.and was buried with honors of the order on the 8th.'
