David J. 'Joe' Lamb, 52, of Decatur died 1:38 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 1, 1995) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Foundation. Mr. Lamb was born April 28, 1942, in Illiopolis, the son of Leonard Leroy and Helen Neeley Lamb. Mr. Lamb attended the Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Helen L. and Clyde Aydt; daughter, Mrs. Fred (Jennifer) Shartzer of Illiopolis; brothers, Gary L. Lamb and Robert L. Lamb, both of Illiopolis; sister, Donna L. Egan of Illiopolis; two grandsons, both of Illiopolis. He was preceded in death by his father.
Services at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Illiopolis. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Illiopolis, with military rites by Illiopolis American Legion. Memorials: American Heart Association or Arthritis Foundation.
