Willard was born July 31, 1941, in Peoria County, Ill., the son of Willard E. Sr. and Leol Gillham Moss. He married Mary Patricia Johnston on July 6, 1968, in Wyoming. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Tina (and Tom) Whitehead of Edinburg, Ill., Colleen (and Rob) Howerton of Belleville, Ill., and Teri Moss of Wyoming, Ill.; four granddaughters, Shelby, Angel, Abby and Peyton; and two sisters, Agnes Rohlman and Inez Brunson, both of California.
His parents, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Willard worked at FMC in Wyoming for 29 years, retiring in 1998.
He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Wyoming, where a funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008. Father Vien Van Do will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 3, 2008, at Wyoming Funeral Home, with recitation of rosary at 8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Dominic's Cemetery in Wyoming.
