Hannah Ellen Akers
Hannah Ellen Akers, 78, Sulivan, died at 11:40 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 1997, at Mary Sherman Hospital, Sullivan.
She was born Nov. 27, 1918, in Sullivan to Samuel and Ethel Mathew Copple. She was a homemaker and a member of the Full Gospel Church, Depot Town, Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Alva Akers, who died in 1969; one son, Omer Leroy Akers; one brother, Harold Copple; one half-brother, George Fisher; and one half-sister, Mary Bedwell.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Chadd, Wheatland, and Charlotte Goodman, Bicknell; one brother, Ed Copple, Paxton; one half-brother, Robert Fisher; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today at the Alexander Funeral Home Sullivan Chapel with the Rev. Rick Southwood and the Rev. Emery Borders officiating. Burial is in Little Flock Cemetery, Shelburn.
