Muncie Herman Absher of North Wilkesboro passed away January 12, 2007 at his home.

Mr. Absher was born November 28, 1925 in Wilkes County to Arthur and Mary Jane Miller Absher.

He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth Key Absher; three daughters, Phyllis Brown, Wanda Marlow and Sandra McDaniel; four brothers, Troy Absher, Howard Absher, Grant Absher and Junior Absher; three sisters, Emma Marshall, LeAnna Foster and Reba Elledge; four grandchildren; two step-granddaughters; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at New Light # 2 Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
