MINTER CITY - Robert D. Regelman, 77, retired operator of Minter City Gin Co. after 30 years and an electrician, died Friday at Greenwood-Leflore Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Wilson and Knight Funeral Home in Greenwood with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery there.
He was a member of Minter City United Methodist Church. He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of the American Legion, a charter member of the Leflore County Country Club and a former member of the Minter City Lions Club.
Regelman, the husband of Margaret Pauline Fant Regelman, also leaves a son, Robert D. Regelman Jr. of Minter City; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Regelman Harrison of Zapata, Texas, and Mrs. JoAnn Rollf Anderson of Chapman, Kan., and a grandson.
The family requests any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
