ORA HAWKINS DENNIS
---Ora Hawkins Dennis was born April 15, 1891 at Atlanta, Missouri and died at her home July 23, 1927 at 6 p.m. after an illness of about five months, making her age at the time of death, thirty-six years, three months and eight days.
---She was united in marriage to Samuel Dennis December 22, 1908. To this union were born three children, one girl, Alta Ethel, died at the age of two years and seven months. Two children, a girl and a boy, died in infancy.
---She leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. Fannie Gates, two brothers, Lester and Everett Hawkins, a host of other relatives and many friends.
---Funeral services were held at the Christian Church conducted by Rev. M.L. Morrow, July 26, after which the body was laid to rest in the Shirley cemetery.
