Funeral Services will be at 11am Friday in the Holy Rosary Church of Kranzburg for Alfred Clausen, 64, Kranzburg, with the Rev. Fr. Gilbert Hess officiating. Mr. Clausen died Monday in the Watertown hospital.
Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. There will be three rosary services Thursday.
Visitation will be from 2-4:30pm in the funeral chapel and from 7-9pm in the church.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd McCrehin, Alfred Fox, Nockolas Haider, Melvin Schmieding, Chuck Clausen, and Gene Kranz.
Mr. Clausen was born June 17, 1915 in Kranzburg Township, Codington County to Mr. and Mrs. John Clausen Sr. He attended District 11 School near Kranzburg and farmed with his family on the family farm until his death. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters.
He is survived by three brothers; Isadore, Johnny and Richard of Kranzburg; and one sister; Ottila McCrehin of Watertown South Dakota.
