Robbie Gene Collins, 64, of Idaho Falls and formerly of Kimberly, passed away surrounded by family Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, from a battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 4, 1943, in Twin Falls, to Bert and Fae Collins.

He married his sweetheart, Carol Nebeker, on June 25, 1965. They had three children, Alisa Collins Klassen, Teresa Collins Sommer and Randy Collins.

Rob, with his brother, Roger Collins, and dad, Bert Collins, owned Collins and Sons Fertilizer for 32 years. Rob loved working with the farmers selling fertilizer and chemicals.

Later he found his joy in loving his 11 precious grandchildren. Rob loved helping and giving to others, fishing with friends and family and buttery popcorn. Rob served his country with great pride in the Army Reserve. Because of his example of patriotism, his children learned to love and respect this great country.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Nebeker Collins; his mother, Fae Collins; his brother, Roger (Phyllis) Collins; his sister, Cheryl (Larry) Anderson; two daughters, Alisa (Daniel) Klassen and Teresa (David) Sommer; and one son, Randy (Stephanie) Collins.
