Mrs. Behr graduated from Frankfort High School in 1937 and was a merchandise manager for the former Alden's Department Store in Frankfort 10 years. She later was a homemaker. The Behrs moved to Zionsville 13 years ago. She was a former member of First Christian Church in Frankfort, a past president of Tri Kappa Sorority and a member of Women of the Moose.
She was born Nov. 28, 1917, in Kokomo to Chester and Zana Rather Loop. She married Robert Behr on June 19, 1938, and he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alan (Barbara) Huckleberry of Germany and Mrs. Art (Bonnie) Rettig of Indianapolis; two sisters, Catherine Copenhaver of Greenwood and Martha Helen Smith of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Goodwin Funeral Home. Calling will begin at 12:30. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association with envelopes at the funeral home.
