Born in Oneida on Feb. 11, 2001, Autumn was to have entered the second grade at Willard Prior Elementary School. During her illness, several times in this past year, she was a patient at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and was a recipient from Make-A-Wish Foundation. Autumn was of the Christian faith.
Surviving besides her parents are two brothers, Scott B. Winchell III and Jacob R. Winchell, both at home; her maternal grandparents, Jane Whipple of Canastota and Michael and Robin Whipple of Canastota; and her paternal grandparents, Scott and Donna Winchell of Canastota; her maternal great-grandparents, Richard and Mary Phillips of Canastota, Shirley Carney of Kirkville and Jack and Sherry Whipple of Jamesville; her paternal great-grandparents, Annabelle and Charles Long of Mexico and Florence Buyea of Durhamville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday from the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home, 260 Main St., Oneida, with the Rev. Betsye Mowry, officiating. Interment will be made in Glenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday.
