My father was a quiet man, who reflected on life and how to help others. I never heard him say more than a handful of words, but I knew he loved my sister and I. He was always giving back to the community in some way, shape or form, and always helping those who had lost a loved one with his compassion. He was a funeral director and mortician. If anyone knew what sorrow was, it was my quite and reflective father. I was only 12 years old when the Lord called him home, but I know he touched so many lives, and he may not have thought about it at the time, but I am sure he has met all of those he helped in heaven. Never does a day go by that I don't think of my father, and I wonder what life would have been like if he had not of gone. I can never tell my father goodbye, but I will say I will see him again. I love you dad, and I miss you very much. You are never forgotten. You are always and forever in my heart of hearts.
