She grew up with one of her litter mates, Easter, who survived her; both were the kittens of Tildie, a very affectionate black-and-white shorthair.
Zoe was a lovely black kitten, and looked like a little grizzly bear when she was born. She liked to be outside and was a good huntress. She had very round yellow eyes and her nickname was "Zoe Mooneyes." She loved to be petted and brushed, and when people were around she would jump from person to person meowing and seeking out a new hand to pet her. She was a long-time companion and she will be missed.
She is buried next to one of her housemates, Eugene O'Neill.
