Lt. Andersen of Virginia Beach, Virginia was a 1998 graduate of Princess Anne High School and a 2002 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He attended the Little Creek Amphibious Base Chapel. He was a helicopter pilot with the United States Navy for the last 5 years and was one of five Jacksonville based crewmembers killed in a helicopter crash. He was 27.
