Resident of Springfield until 1904 when he joined his son in Omaha. He was for many years a traveling salesman. Survived by wife Mary; son Frank S. Cowgill, sisters Miss M. C. Cowgill and Mrs. J. J. Brinkerhoff. Funeral from the residence of Mrs. Brinkerhoff. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
