Age 88, resident of Dublin, Oh. for 22 years, died Sunday evening, August 10, 2008, at her daughter's residence. Born in Logan, W.Va., Peg attended Logan High School, graduated from Mary Baldwin College, and was the first woman to receive her Masters Degree in Library Science from Marshall University. Peg would marry Jacob Dean "Deano" Eisel, during WW II, and moved to Gallipolis, Oh. after the war. She was a teacher in Pt. Pleasant, W.Va. and later became a professional librarian in the Rockford, Illinois Public Library. After she retired, she returned to Ohio and became an active member of the Dublin community through her role as a volunteer library aide in the public schools, as an active member and former president of Women Today, as an avid member of The Red Hat Society, and as host of her famous Annual Derby Party. She also enjoyed her Bridge Club and playing Skip-Bo with the women in the neighborhood. She was an avid golf fan and The Memorial Tournament won't be the same without her. Peg was truly a "Southern Belle" and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Molly Barker and Goodman Woolcock, her husband Dean Eisel and sister Dorothy Jane DePietro. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Fee and Pete Hoy of Dublin, Oh.; son and daughter-in-law, Jake and Peggy Eisel of Boulder, Colo.; grandchildren, Reagan Hoy (fiance, Christopher Pace) of Miami Beach, Fla., Emily Hoy and P.J. Hoy of Dublin, Oh., Vonna Eisel and Brittany Eisel of Boulder, Colo.; her nieces, Jane Clancey of Ala. and Sandy Wilson of Panama City, Fla.; as well as many wonderful, caring friends and her best buddy, "Stormin' Norman." If they choose, friends are asked to consider memorial contributions to Partners in Progress c/o Melanie Ziegler, Memorial Hospital of Union County, 500 London Ave., Marysville, Oh. 43040, in Peg's memory
