Private First Class Angus was a member of the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. He was seriously wounded by the enemy in South Korea on January 1, 1951 and died of those wounds on January 3, 1951.
Richard Wayne Angus Florence Angus were Ernest Melvin's grandparents, not parents. Ernest Richard Angus was his dad. (Un-marked grave beside Ernest Melvin I am still in search for his mother. Richard and Florence were my great grandparents and the parents on my maternal grandmother, Gladys Jean Angus Blue.
