PEARL PHARES DIES AGED 58
Native of Liberty Township Succumbs to Illness of Over Year.

Mrs. Pearl A. Phares, age 58 years, wife of Charles Phares, residing north of Valparaiso, in Liberty township, died Tuesday evening at 10:15 o'clock in Billings Memorial hospital, Chicago. She entered the hospital last Thursday. For the last year she had been in ill health.

The decedent was born in Liberty township, Porter county, on Sept. 6, 1881, a daughter of the late Isaac Dillingham and Patience (Proseus) Dillingham. All her life was spent in that township.

On May 16, 1906, she was united in marriage to Charles Phares by Rev. Robert Beer, pastor of the PResbyterian church of this city.

Surviving besides the husband are four sons, Marvin, Milton, Zane and Bruce; one daughter, Betty, and one grandchild. Myron and Warren Dillingham, of Liberty township, and four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Hanrahan and Mrs. Edward Anderson, of Liberty township; Mrs. Oakley Lutes and Mrs. William E. Morthland, of Valparaiso.

Memorial services will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m., DST, at the Bartholomew chapel on Washington street. Friends may call at the Bartholomew chapel from Thursday at 7 p. m. up until time of the services.
