John Calder Sr.,aged ninety four years, died at the residence of his son-in-law, Geo. Applegate, near Blackstone, on Sunday, July 7th. Mr. Calder was not only one of the first settlers, but one of the oldest inhabitants of the county; he leaves an aged wife, six or seven children, and over forty grandchildren.
