Lillian A. Munns, age 73, of Platteville, WI died Sept. 19, 1999 at St. Mary's Care Center in Madison, WI. She was born on Sept. 23, 1925 in Lancaster, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Mabel (Dailey) Linzy. She graduated from Platteville High School in 1944. She is survived by nine children, William (Gloria) Woods of Mifflin, WI, Alice (Larry) Ferrell of Oregon, WI, Diane Pilgrim of Belmont, WI, Clayton (Michelle) Woods of Janesville, WI, Grant (Sue) Woods of Beliot, WI, Barbara Woods of Janesville, WI, Margaret (Claude) Kupchanko of Stafford, AZ, Larry (Nicki) Luther of Ogden, UT, and Leslie Luther of Madison; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five brothers and sisters, Luther (Ruth) Linzy of Dubuque, IA, Leonard Linzy of Madison, Forrest (Carolyn) Linzy of Platteville, WI, Arthur Linzy of Platteville, WI, and Anna Mae Morgan of Madison, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, William Woods; her second husband, Frank Luther; her third husband, Merle Munns; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; a half-brother, LeRoy Stearns; and a half-sister, Betty Linzy. Public graveside services were held at the Lima Union Cemetery, rural Platteville with Robert Bennett officiating. The Bendorf Funeral Home, Platteville, is serving the family.
