Detta Mae Rominger and Floyd James Slinkard were united in marriage on April 29, 1948, they were married 43 years.
Detta Mae and Floyd had two Sons ~ Larry Dale and Gary Lynn.
Detta had four sisters ~ Eileen Rominger (Logue), Shirley Rominger (Henbest) Arletta Rominger (Ragland) and Betty Rominger (Ray).
She retired from Emerson Electric in Rogers, Arkansas where she had worked for many many years.
Detta Mae was a sweet and precious daughter, loving wife, mother and wonderful grandmother to her two grandsons ~ Justin and Rusty Slinkard.

Detta Mae love taking care of her family, she was a great cook and enjoyed camping so much. She was a Beautiful person inside as well as out, and had a heart of gold! I LOVED her very much. She treated me as I was her very own daughter. She enjoyed embroidering and painting on flour sack tea towels, I still have tea towels she made for me over 40 years ago. She love listening to Wendy Bagwell albums on the record player and growing beautiful violets. Making sure her family was happy and taken care of...always came first in her life.
She was a member of the Free Will Bapist Church in Rogers, Arkansas.
