Roy H. Tucker of 4114 13th Avenue, Chattanooga, Tennessee, died in a local hospital Saturday afternoon. He was a retired employee of the Peerless Woolen Mills of Rossville. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Sixth Calvary of the U. S. Army, and a charter member of the Order of Eagles, Aerie 2942, Rossville. Survived by wife, Mrs. Nancy Tucker; one step-daughter, Mrs. Grace Leonard, Big Bear Lake, California; four stepsons, Raymond Hembree and Bruce Hembree, Chattanooga, Billy Hembree, Santa Susanna, California, and Jay Hembree, Reseda, California; and several step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Dean officiating. Interment will be in the U. S. National Cemetery. The body is at Lane Funeral Home, Inc.
