Rites Friday At Ottoville
John Siefker Died At Home Of Son

John H. Siefker died unexpectedly at the home of a son, John Siefker, one and one-half miles north of Ottoville, Monday afternoon at four o’clock. He had been ailing for a number of years but a cerebral hemorrhage was the immediate cause of his demise.

Mrs. Siefker preceded her husband in death eleven years ago, and for the last eight years he had been making his home with the son. Prior to that time he had resided on a farm east of Delphos. He was seventy-six years of age.

Mr. Siefker is survived by the following children, Mrs. Louis Seffernick, Flint, Mich.; Isadore, of east of Delphos; Mrs. Henry Hoffman and Mrs. Regina Weichart, Delphos; Mrs. Henry Landwehr, Ottoville; thirty-four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Three daughters and a son preceded Mr. Siefker in death.

Funeral services were held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Ottoville Friday morning at nine o’clock and burial was made in St. John’s cemetery at Delphos.
