Nellie Grace (Bowman) King, 91, Aurora, W.Va., died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

Born Aug. 25, 1914, in Red House, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Otis and Rebecca Jane Bowman. She was the wife of the late W.Y. King. She was also preceded in death by one son, Charles R. King; four brothers, Hubert, John, Walter, Stewart, and Harland Bowman; and one sister, Mabel Kahl.

Mrs. King was the owner and operator of King's Castle Cottages at Deep Creek Lake in McHenry.

Nellie shared in the family of Sam and Norma Bowman and their daughters Connie and her son Trevor Alexander, and Charlotte and Mike Warnick and their sons Aaron, Scott, and David Warnick. She was a very special lady to their family. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends were received at the Burdock-Durst Funeral Home, Oakland, where a service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 22, with the Rev. Bill Dawson officiating.

Interment was in Garrett Memorial Gardens, Oakland.
