"ELEC LESTER TROXEL"
Services for Elec Lester Troxel, 84, were held Monday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Huffman Memorial Chapel, Lake City, with Rev. Ray Hill officiating. The body was cremated with burial at Cottonwood Cemetery, Lake City, at the convenience of the family. Flag presentation by the V. F. W. and the American Legion was at the funeral home.

Honorary casket bearers were Steven Vanderheiden, Rndy Vanderheiden, Rick Vanderheiden, Kerry Vanderheiden, Todd Clark, Scott Vanderheiden, Trent Vanderheiden, and Mark Vanderheiden. Soloist for the service was Darci St. Peter, a granddaughter.

Mr. Troxel died Friday, April 8, 1988 at Shady Oaks Nursing Home, Lake City.

Born May 21, 1903, at El-Reno, Oklahoma, Elec was the son of Ned and Maude Partlow Troxel. He was married February 20, 1958 to Lowes Marie Dunlap at the Christian Church in Lake City for 30 years and was a retired farmer and a member of the Woodlawn Christian Chruch. Mr. Troxel served in the U.S. Army dring World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lowes of Lake City and a step-daughter Beverly J. Vanderheiden, Carroll; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Don and Kenny Troxel."
