Roy H. Bowders, 71, of Rt. 3, died early Wednesday morning at his home after a long illness.
He was born in Franklin county, a son of Lewis and Ida Belle Baker Bowders. He was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church of Greencastle and a retired employee of M. P. Moller, Inc. of Hagerstown.
He is survived by his wife Lula L. Stains Bowders; daughters, Mrs. Bruce C. Vaughn of Waynesboro, Rt. 3, Mrs. Annabelle Salisbury, at home, Mrs. Omar C. Cline of Waynesboro, Rt. 3, Mrs. Galen C. Zeger of Greencastle, Rt. 3; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers, John of Waynesboro, Rt. 2, William I. of Waynesboro, Guy of State Line.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Brethren Church, State Line. The Rev. Leroy L. Perry and the Rev. H. Dorsey Glover, Jr. will officiate; burial in Beautiful View Cemetery in Stale Line.
Friends may call at Minnich Miller Funeral Home in Greencastle on Friday evening from 7 to 9 and at the church an hour prior to the time of the services.
