Born in Possum Walk. Daughter of James Monroe "Jim" Reynolds and Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Maricle Reynolds. Married James Henry Holmes Oct. 1, 1925. Mother of eleven children. After her marriage, she lived in Pennington the rest of her life in the home that Henry built for her. She died in Lufkin on Mother's Day 1992.
